Telephone Town Hall to Discuss Heath Care Reform

October 30, 2009

On Tuesday, November 3rd from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., I will host an emergency health care telephone town hall for constituents of Florida’s 7th Congressional District.  This is in response to the House Democrat Majority’s newly unveiled health care reform proposal, which has grown from 1,000 pages to almost 2,000 pages.  Over the next several days, I will be reviewing the legislation that was crafted behind closed doors by a select group of Democrat Leaders.  The health care bill could be voted on in the House of Representatives as early as next week.

In the telephone conference with constituents, I will discuss the latest available information on the health care proposal and will hear from the public on the pending health care plans before Congress.  Participants will be able to directly ask questions or comment during the live forum.

To sign up to participate in the telephone town hall conference call, you can do so online at http://mica.house.gov/Forms/Form/?ID=498 or by calling any of my offices listed below.
